11. The electrics
I had professional help for the electrics in the wagon. This is because I know very little about electrics and also because I wanted it all to work, be signed off and safe. Therefore Steve from SP Electrical Limited was wonderful and helped wire up all the sockets and lights back to the consumer unit. I’ve chosen to just have a 240v hook up for ease.
I laid all the cabling in the walls for the sockets and then really slowly pushed the wiring for the LED recessed dimmable ceiling lights though the original cladding roof. I cut holes and then used pipe to poke though the holes and run these wires.
The lights are on dimmer switches (two in the bedroom and 6 in the main space) and then there is a single socket for the fridge and four other sockets around the space.
Im reply glad this part of the build is done, it really stressed me out!
